When Ranier blows it will make Mt. St. Helen look like a backyard firework.  The worse part is that it will also trigger the Cascade fault.

Yes that is a fault off of Vancouver Island which will wipe out Seattle with a large psusnami. I have relatives in Port Townsend and was there a year ago November. We saw a pod of killer whales while we took the ferry from Edmond to Port of King. Seattle is too big for me but the scenary around the city if spectacular. When my ex girl friends father grew up there in the 40s and 50s it was a lot smaller.

Watch out for Yellowstone. I listened to coast to coast am last night and the guest, a geologist, said there has been about 900 eruptions in the last two months.

I like the Pudget Sound for its beauty but too much rain

It is amazing how the evergreens grow right up to the edge of the salt water.

Now here we go Mount Rainier in the background- Seattles ticking time bomb!

Yes, it seems if we follow the lines of the catastrophic then Seattle and surround areas will either be destroyed by a gigantic tidal wave or a catasclasmic eruption that will in one way or another possibly destroy the entire N. Western part of the USA!

In other words, all of you living on the Left Coast, sorry the West Coast, should follow the same directions that I had to follow during a grade school student during the Cuban crisis, that is; "Bend over! Place your head under your desk! And then; "Kiss your ass goodby!"

Goodby, left coast! We will not really miss you!

If someone wants to make a big deal about what I wrote above, then you must also undertand that my current wife and I both lived in the Seattle area back in 1970-72! But, then we did not know each other! But, we did undertand the weird background of the locals!

Left coast - guess I will have to go off topic for only a moment.

Funny, it all depends on where you go. Some sections of the west coast are very conservative. For instance, the east side of Washington State tends to be more conservative than the west side but even on the west side, the libs mainly live in the populated areas like Seattle. Spokane, on the east side, is a lot more conservative than Seattle. I use to live in Spokane up to a year ago. I am sure it works both ways.

Tidal wave- there is a volcanic Island in the Cannary Islands which will slide into the ocean anytime or in 1,000 years, who knows. The unstable section is deep underwater but if this happens then a 800 foot tidal wave will strike the east coast of the USA. I would not hold your breath on this happening in our time but who knows. The tidal wave that will strike Seattle was estimated to be only 60-80 feet high. The east coast is just too crowded for me. Maine is the only state I would enjoy!

Yes, I am sure you are correct! But, as I mentioned, I lived in the Seattle-Tacoma area! Hatred of Southerners was very apparent then! As was the delight of the locals to deride Viet Nam veterans!

Regards,
