Just one suggestion: Wouldn't it be better if we put here only links to the pictures, not the pictures themselves. It would be better at least for loading...

Yup, Google "chiltern hills" in the UK it may throw up some more. The hills are made of limestone, and u have springs dotted all over the place. These places r about 10 to 30 min away from where i live.

i was carried away by these wonders.

Tears always come into my eyes when i see relics in my motherland, thinking how great they are and how deep we, her sons and daughters, attach to her. But now i m thinking how great our earth mother is, how great humankind is.

There are at least four leaning towers in China to my knowledge, here is one of them:

Posted By: Qin Dynasty
Date Posted: 26-Feb-2006 at 08:46

All right, these are what in my computer, It failed to include many most famous sites in China like the Palace of Ching, terracotta warriors and horses of Qin, the Dunhuang Grottes, ruins of Loulan, ghost city etc. The mausoleums of emperors and numerous holy places of religions are also not presented here. The nature features, i believe, is no special different from other places around world. What i really appreciate is the historical sense which always make me ponder and overwhelmed by a complexed feeling about the past events and figures. It is not easy for a foreigner to understand. I believe each man and woman has such feeling upon their motherland. This may be the source of patriotism.

BTW, the local people are whom u can not turn a deaf ear to, their dresses, customs, habbits , dialects and mouth of legends are even more fascinating, in a word, they are living culture.
