I would say they belong to no other 'race' and are unique.

It does not matter how the Khoisan look like, fellow. The external apparience of people has little to do with genetical distance. Genetical distance measure the average difference in genes. And, as you know, the genes that control the "racial look" so to speak, are less than the 1% of the genetic make up of a human being. So two groups may look similar and be very distant and other groups could look different and be quite close.
The Khoisan are not the ancestors of mankind, but they are the closest group alive to the ancestral people that are the ancestors of all. They are the ancestors of Bantues (West and South African "Black" peoples), Pigmies and Ethiopians in Africa (among others), but also the ancestors of Australoids, Mongoloids and Caucasoids. Someone has to be the closest and Khoisans are the ones identified by science.
If you are curious about Caucasians you'll find interesting that some people believe that branch comes from Khoisan to Ethiopians to Berbers to "Semitics" and finally to Europeans and Germanic peoples. Make sense isn't? So, in certain way, from the point of view of Genetics, "white men" are also "Africans" if you wish. The same is true for the so called "Yellow men". (Curiously enough, the so called "Yellow" and "Red" race has been proveen by science to be almost identical)
Now, I am going to prove you the arguments of skin color are bull.
The human race is a species closely related to CHIMPS. If we go further back evolution we will find our ancestors some millions years ago looked like chimpances. Don't you know there is even a book that call the human species "The Third Chimpance"?
Now, let me ask you. Were those chimpances Black, White, Yellow or Red people? What are the "racial" characteristics of chimps? If I where to apply "racial" criteria I would see that chimps have straigh hair, thin lips and light skin so I would have to conclude they are caucasians. Lol! Isn't that ridiculous.
Don't you see now that the skin color issue does not make sense?
That's why I insist. Define me who is a Black person and who is not a Black person. Just try. And you will find quite easily that a definition like that is impossible to do, because mankind vary continuosly. That's all.
And I agree with you. There is good and bad in all peoples. You bet.
(By the way, I didn't pay attention to previous offenses. Don't worry)

Nothing is black OR white. Does ancient Egypt have Nubian (to me that's what we mean when we say African) roots? Of course. There's archaeological evidence to suggest similar pottery and weaving patterns, i.e. Were there outside (non- African) influences on ancient egypt? Of course. Ancient Egyptian is closer to Semitic than any Bantu dialect, i.e. Also, no one so far has mentioned the Hyksos. They were Indo-European and they took over Egypt for a good part of the Intermediate Period. Why is viola and Africa surprised by the color variation in Egyptians? Not all were/are black. even the youtube clips viola posted testify to this: some pharaohs look black, some don't (Ramses II, Seti I, Sesostris III). I'm guessing that by the time of the N Kingdom Egyptians (even if they started out black as the night as our Afrocentrist friends would like to believe) had mixed enough to achieve all hues of brown-to-black skin. Don't be narrow minded. Cultures usually incorporate many different elements and we usually deny this to reinforce our own perspsctives. If Egyptians mixed and borrowed from Semites, why does that make them less "African"? Unless we try to put Africa on a pedestool, then this should be common sense. Ancient Egypt was an autocthonous African civilization that went in its own "special" direction, perhaps because of its strategic/crossroads geographic location. To deny ancient egypt's african roots is equally morose with denying its definite mixture of different elements, Indo-European/Caucasoid (Hyksos) included. A short, true dialogue between me and a black, 40-something woman (I live in the US): --Woman: Where are you from? --Me: Well, Greece. --Woman (pauses for a bit): Is that it? --Me (surprised): What do you mean? --Woman: Honey, no one is one thing. You've got many peoples inside you. --Me (annoyed): Well, I guess, there's been intermixing, Vlach, albanian, Turk, Bulgarian, but let me point you out to genetic research according to which ancient and modern Greeks are quite sim.. --Woman (interrupts): You're the original African!! YOU ARE AFRICA!!! --Me (flabbergasted): Me? C'mon you're putting me on. Is this some kind of racial joke? I don't get it. --Woman (in serious, maternalistic tone). You should know that all Med. peoples are truly Egyptian who are truly African. Then you too, are African, with a few generations in between. --Me (angry): Oh yeah? My nigger, you illin' --Woman: What? What did you call me? --Me: My nigger. Or should I say my nigger-ess? --Woman: YOU can't use that word. --Me: What kind of truly african am I then, if i can't use "nigger"? --Woman: Just watch your ass, don't say that to a black man, he'll whoop yo' white-boy ass. Lesson learned: I'm not african enough to be allowed to use the word nigger but I'm african enough to justify someone else's mixed-up racial theories. Which leaves me and the "few generations in between" of my suppossive ancestors in quite of a racial/identity quaqmire and mind-f**k.

I couldn't say it better!
And that dialog is so funny .
That's funny for me, as well, in a personal level. You know, several times I was confussed with Greek when I lived in Canada by European descendents (I have Med ancestors). You couldn't believe the face of surprise they put when I told them I wasn't but South American . I wonder if I meet that lady of the dialog, above, what we could have talk about

Who were the Hyksos anyway? Is Manetho the only one who refers to them?

Hyksos are Semitic, otherwise known as "Sea People". They invade Egypt and rule for about 100 years (17th-15th Dynasties) in the Second Intermediate Period. Who is Manetho?

I dont believe we( humans) came from primates, but at the same time i believe in evolution....Not Evolution as far as from ape to man but just constant changes in humans....Also i believe the remains of so called "cave men" they find that date back thousands of years ago, are really the regular humans of the bible, either that or the Nephlems(the half human half demon creatures)....

I really doubt that we came from chimps or any animals, And also doubt that we ever were spirit creatures to being with. But i do think we came from the dirt and when we die we return back to the dirt.... No Heaven or Hell for us humans...Just return back to the nothingness non existence from which we came Just my opinion...And i believe in a creator(God)....

Manetho was an Egyptian historian from the Hellenistic period. I was wondering about the sources on the Hyksos. They seem to be a bit of a mystery. The Hyksos and the Sea People are not the same. The Sea People appeared much later, somewhere during the 20th dynasty.
