While I would prefer that Judaism was only a religion, that is a private matter. Actually it's normally seen as something more: a nationality, where belief is secondary. In fact the policy of Israel consider Jew those whose parents (either one) are Jews (ethnically). Religion doesn't matter there.

I concede to the notion that unless we define being a Jew as to belonging to a certain ethnicity or culture, the term "Jew" simply means one who believes in the God of Abraham and Isaac.

 But if "Jew" defines someone who is part of a Jewish culture or ethnicity, (e.g., someone who speaks Hebrew, takes part in their customs, etc.) then one could be an atheist Jew. But most definitions of "culture" or "ethinicity" not only include language, etc but religion as well.

So if believing in, the God of Abraham is a necessary condition in order to belong to the Jewish culture, then there is no such thing as an atheist Jew nomatter of whether such a person is fluent in Hebrew and participates in other Hebrew customs.
A mathematician is a person who thinks that if there are supposed to be three people in a room, but five come out, then two more must enter the room in order for it to be empty.

I think we can easily solve the problem by separating the Jew-Hebrew ethnicity and the Jew-Judaist religion, the same we separate the Polish and Catholic or Indian and Hindu. But who am I to tell Jews what to do in those matters?

Israelis have planes, helos, tanks, WMDs and US satellite surveyance. Palestinians have suicide bombers, demographics and general sympathies on most of the world.

u kidding me dude, i own with ak in counter strike, its very accurate. lol

also even though palestinians fight with aks, they dont really have that many of em. as was said, they  mostyly fight with suicide bombers and homemade rockets. cuz its very hard for them to import things. but with the recent gaza withdrawl, they might be able to sneek more through egypt.

also gota notic that militant groups in gaza have aks, and ones in West bank such as Alaqsa martyrs brigades actualy carry m4s or m16s (dono the difference)  more often than aks, at least thats what i see on tv. prolly because they actualy purchase their weapons from israelis themselves Confused

on the issue of ancesstary, there is no such thing as a jewish race, i mean cmon, dont tell me that a polish jew looks like an ethiopian joo, or even a morocan jew.

which is another thing that bothers me, how a black jew from ethiopia that has lived there since the dawn of time all of a sudden claims that his true home is israel, and is happy for being able to go "back." and instead have the palestinian live in a refugee camp in lebenon and the ethiopian take his place.?/ anyone see something wrong with that?
