Today north india is a mix bag of people. Most still look very dravidian, while some others kinda look iranian type but that is still very small. Here comes another. "Persian" genes presumably are the descendants of Persia or the Persian ethnic group,of which perhaps only the Parsis have been proven to be from. In fact he's probably right, Northwest India does have more Parsis. The Iranian type just means the plateau region, and it's not a single type (of people or genes), but many different groups of people.

When one say that there is a lot of intermixing I just rectify that there is very less intermixing between various groups of northwest and this particular point is proved by genetic studies not their scythic decent .
 
Now most of northwestern people have Scythian decent who were called aryans also like parthians .So this Dravidian mixing is just an imagination without any real base.
