I would really apreciate any information abou the kingdom of Burgundy and the rulers of that area. Thanks.

Check http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/King_of_Burgundy - Wikipedia - Kings of Burgundy (not a great link though).

It had the following periods:
  • The original Burgundian kingdom (till 532)
  • Frankish domain (534-855)
  • Independence as two separated realms (855-933)
  • Unification (933-1032)
  • Incorporation to the Horly Roman Empire (1032-1250)
After 1250 nobody uses the title of King of Burgundy: the territory was then too fragmented.
