Most likely you can find in the net only maps of ancient empires like Persia, Macedon, Assyria, Babylon, Akkad, Hittites, Mittani and, of course, ancient Egypt, Sumer and Israel. Not what you need most likely.

Some examples are:

  • http://darkwing.uoregon.edu/%7Eatlas/europe/interactive/map34.html - Another map of the same sort
  • http://www.hyperhistory.com/online%5Fn2/maptext%5Fn2/sumer.html - Map of Sumer and the Akkadian empire
  • http://oi.uchicago.edu/OI/PROJ/NIP/PUB93/NSC/NSCFIG1.html - Map with Mesopotamian cities
  • http://www.allempires.com/empires/hittites/hittitemap.gif - Map of the Hittite Empire (All Empires)
