I think people of Kashan are mostly Persian, of course it is said that Kashan mean "Land of Kassites".

Hmm, do you know where you read such a thing? You know, it is possible that the Safavies transported some Dagestanis to the area like they moved a lot of Armenians into Iran.

I think Turks call all non-Turkic peoples especially Iranians as Tats, of course now Iranian peoples in Azerbaijan, Kazvin, Zanjan and other Turkic regions in Iran are known as Tats, I hadn't heard about Tats in Kashan.

I know about and visited many locations in and around Kashan.  The city of Kashan is between Esfahan and Tehran. People of Kashan speak a dialogue of standard Persian. For those familiar with Southern USA accents vs. standard American English, Kashi accent (Kashi refers to both people and thier accents) is similarly accentuated. However, their villages around Kashan with languages rooted in ancient middle Pahlavi language of pre-Islamic period to a point that for a typical Persian speaking individual, they are not understood. Ghohrood, Kamoo are two of these villeges. Refrences to TATI languages are these type of languages. In summary, Kashi people and all surrounding villeges are of Persian stock. There are no none Persian speaking languages spoken in this area ie. no Turkic, Arabic, Armenian, etc.
