Hullupu is some kind of Tree of Life, isn't it? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Is there anyone know that the myth about Hades and Cypress??? All sources say that it is symbol of Hades, but that's it. | Apollo loved the boy Cyparissus. Cyparissus in his turn loved a stag. But the boy accidentally slew the animal, and was so grief stricken that he wished to die. Apollo turned him into the Cypress tree, which has droplets of sap appearing on its bark like the tears of Cyparissus. Thus it is the tree of mourning. |
