Hullo.

It's a wide place with a diverse numbers of interests. If at first you receive little attention. Then my recommendation is find threads which are active and contribute. 'Specialization' in interest is often narrow until you have proven your staying power. And quite frankly the interest level coupled to knowledge of an area or context.
