Queen Alexandra's State Coach was built around the year 1865, initially as a plain town coach.
Some thirty years later, it was glazed and converted into a State Coach for Princess Alexandra, the Princess of Wales. She was to become Queen Alexandra of Great Britain.
Queen Alexandra's State Coach is used to convey the Imperial State Crown to and from the Palace of Westminster for the annual State Opening of Parliament.

The last French Coronation took place on May 29, 1825 with King Charles X at Reims Cathedral.
The Coronation Coach of King Charles X was completely gilded with gold leaf.
The interior was trimmed with crimson silk velvet.

The Norwegian Royal Train is a set of train carriages used by the Norwegian Royal Family and maintained by Norges Statsbaner (Norwegian State Railways).
The current set was introduced in 1994 in connection with the Lillehammer Olympics.
These train carriages replaced a set from 1962, that had consisted of B3 carriages named A1.

The Barouche from 1906 was used for the wedding of Princess Margarethe of Denmark to Count Henri de Laborde de Monpezat, a French diplomat, in 1967.

The Gold Coach is used for the Queen of Denmark and Prince Consort when they are transported from Amalienborg to Christiansborg Palace during the tradition-rich New Year's levee in January.
It was built for King Christian VIII by coachmaker Henry Fife in 1840.
The Gold Coach is covered with 24-karat gold leaf, has four gilded crowns on the roof and has a painted state coat of arms on the doors.

The Glass Coach is one of the principal State carriages of the British monarch.
Built by Peter and Sons of London in 1881, it had originally been designed as a Sheriff's coach.
It was purchased by the Crown in time for the Coronation of George V in 1911.
The Glass Coach has been used at Royal Weddings.

Prince Joseph Wenzel of Liechtenstein had a Golden Carriage commissioned when he was the Austrian ambassador to the French court.
The Golden Carriage was made in 1738.
The carriage was made out of wood, steel, gilt, bronze gilt, leather, crystal, velvet with gold embroidery and brocade.
