In Shorter Christian Prayer, one of the Intercessions for Holy Saturday Morning Prayer is:
Christ, the Good Shepherd, in death you lay hidden from the world,
teach us to love a life hidden with you in the Father.

How is the life hidden with Jesus in the Father?

Jesus lay hidden awaiting his Resurrection. So when Christians die they will lay hidden, awaiting the resurrection to come. The 'life' that is hidden in the Father is the anticipated new life after the general resurrection.
