Can anyone recommend any good books, resources, or general info about how the guilds were organised in Europe?  "Pop" history or academic sources are fine.

What was their internal decision making structure like?  How did one enter the guilds?  What happened if someone tried to produce outside the guild or below guild rates?  Etc, etc.

Thanks!

The German potters guilds began at about the same time.  I don't know much more, other than that I would be eligible for a license without an exam, as I have my degrees in Ceramics.
