BURMESE: HAND WRITTEN, HAND DECORATED FRONT AND BACK COVERS

In the southwest of Iran there is a beautiful and mysterious historical building which is called Rangooni Mosque, of course there is nothing to prove that it can be mosque, Rangoon (Yangon) was the former capital of Burma (Myanmar), it is believed some people from this city built this building.

How widespread is Islam in Burma? I thought it was a Buddhist country

It seems about 4% of the population of Burma are Muslims, I searched and found in the city of Mawlamyine (Moulmei) in the southeast of this country, there are some similar mosques.
