One of the few countries England hasn't gone to war with is Portugal. They have been allies since 1373 when Edward III signed a treaty with the Portuguese king. Portugal sent troops to help England during the Seven Years' War, Napoleonic Wars and WWI. Although they were neutral during WWII, the Portuguese allowed the British to use their naval-bases in the Azores, and again during the Falklands War
