Comic books still count as literature, right? The link below contains images from Spielberg's new Tintin film based on Herge's 1959 book. And might i say, their depictions of Tintin and Captain Haddock are spot-on:

I'm not that impressed by the depiction of some of the other characters,
but the trailer still looks good. The motorbike scene reminds me of

maybe my reaction is just agaist newness. but it is still difficult to accept it. I prefer to remember him as in carton, not with 3d movies. Normally we dont know his eyes colour. The movie was OK, but would have been much better if it was live-action as some of the characters (Thompson twins in particular) didn't look right
