One of our newest members..Pellaeon... is to be congragulated for the creation of what appears to be an excellent and upcoming Forum on Rome and all things Roman. I recommend everyone takes a look.

The new Admins are fools. They are banning left and right. AND(!!) they are controlling what is said (not in a good way).

2. I know both Salah and Oka from historium and they know me; we interacted on a number of forums subs always in a civil and friendly fashion. And they knew my favorites and social groups I was most active on. And they know why I was banned there so I'm not a particularly objective Mod on this one. As I don't know AZ nor any proxies he may or may not have used...or where.
3. But AZ... I don't believe you have recieved permission to post a link for anything in your sig block.. so it's been edited. Do not put it back until you recieve the same from the admin and he then notify's us. If you fail to do this and it's reposted your subject to further action.
4. One final note on commenting on other forums past and present...attempt to keep the negativity to a minium if at all possibly..we don't want nor do we on AE... condone flame wars between forum sites...bad business and it's not necessary. To say your banned from a site for whatever reason is one thing.... but to pour gas on a fire as a means to gain revenge for real or percieved wrongs serves no purpose. I know I've been there. So your best bet is discuss it PM.
Which is why for example I won't comment publically on that...I still have many friends at Historium and wish them well.

It's taken me a little time to figure out what's going on here. First let me say that I'm aware of members from historum who have been slipping into AE ostensibly to either cause trouble just for the heck of it, or possibly to pound out an old grudge. Don't know, don't care. Everyone is expected to abide by the basic rules of civility and the CoC. And I can say absolutely that the Admins at Historum would not be pleased with someone trying to start an inter forum Flame war.
I will also note that Galleon and AbsoluteZero have the same ip address. Usually this indicates a Sock Puppet.
I would like either of them to respond with an explanation. I'm also fairly sure they have been here before.

It's 'you're', not 'your' and 'Forums' needs an apostrophe to show possession. I don't see your point, a forum is a forum and an admin is an admin. I have immense respect for this forum's admin given that I've been visiting as a guest for the better part of 3 years - I've seen the current admin's staying power and determination and respect that. As for the mod I am supposed to have respect for, I have seen nothing whatsoever from this particular mod to justify an ounce of respect. Should he earn it, then that'll be a different matter. So, why are you here, Eddie?

Look in the upper lefthand corner of the page where his avatar is. There are 5 green stars and the word Moderator. That's all you need to see. That and the rules of common civility and the CoC. If you respect me, than you respect CV as it was I who gave him those green stars and the title of Moderator. Anything further on this will be done by PM.
And that goes for any other problems or complaints about any staff member, let's keep it in PM.

It doesnt matter.....it was an insult, flame and a troll all in one and it was noted.
