I had a trip to Van, Turkey at Jul 2009 for visiting Inscription of Xerxes the Great. Since 3 years ago that an Iranian couple rediscovered it, I guess we were 3rd group from Iran that could locate it: The rock inscription XV of Xerxes the Great (486-465 BC) cut in the southeastern facade of the Van Citadel. The text has been wrote in old Persian (left-hand column), Babylonian, and Elamite and survives in a perfect condition.     A great god is Ahuramazda, the greatest of gods, who created this earth, who created that sky, who created man, who created happiness for man, who made Xerxes king, one king for all, one ruler for all. I am Xerxes, the great king, the king of kings, king of all kinds of peoples with all kinds of origins, king of this earth great and wide, the son of king Darius, the Achaemenid. King Xerxes says: King Darius, my father, by the grace of Ahuramazda built much that was good, and he gave orders to dig this niche out, but because he did not make an inscription, I ordered this inscription to be made. May Ahuramazda and the other gods protect me, my kingdom, and what I have made. خدای بزرگ است اهورامزدا، که بزرگ‌ترین خدایان است، که این زمین را آفرید، که آن آسمان را آفرید، که مردم را آفرید، که شادی را برای مردم آفرید، که خشیارشا را شاه کرد. تک بسیاری شاه، تک بسیاری فرمانروا. من خشیارشا، شاه بزرگ، شاه شاهان، شاه سرزمین‌هایی با بسیار مردمان، شاه بر این زمینِ بزرگ و بس دور. پسر داریوش شاه، هخامنشی. گوید خشیارشا شاه: داریوش شاه که مرا پدر بود، به خواست اهورامزدا بسا بهترین‌ها بکرد و فرمان کندن اینجا را بداد، جایی که نپشته‌ای ننوشت. پسانگاه، من فرمان نبشتن این نپشته را دادم. اهورامزدا بپایاد با دیگر خدایان، مرا و شهریاری مرا و آنچه که کرده‌ام |

Nice photos, the location of the inscription was selected very well by Darius the Great and Xerxes' respect for his father is admirable.  -------------
