The French knight is heavily armored but the gazi is an expirienced soldier...

The Gazis were armed with almost any weapon other than pistols they could be mounted or on foot they could be armoured or unarmoured. The armour of Ghazis varied. The word ghazi roughly translates to "one who fights for Islam".They were warriors on the Byzantine front who raided and conguered territories piece by piece.They were effective as they fought with valour and bravery. They had an extremely high morale but I really doubt they could stand against a french knight.
