Does anyone know much about the contacts between Buddhism and Christianity during the post-classical period? The Crusades obviously between Christianity and Islam, and Islam gained many followers in Asia around the time of the Mongol conquests, but I'm having a hard time finding anything on contacts between Christianity and Buddhism. Did Western Europe mostly keep to itself rather than trying to spread Christianity into Asia? Any replies by today would be lovely.
