Is torch man (TORCHMAN: 燧人-遂人)a Chinese or Indian, a Korean a Japanese?

Is this kind of story Pan-human?, as can be found in Greek legend? Is he a greek?

Should you be asking if it is Jurchen, Tungus, or Korean? According to your nationalistic views, everything in Asia must have originated from the 'Eastern Barbarians.'

Sure, Confucious was an Eastern Barbarian. Buddhism was also created by the Eastern Barbarians. Hell, even the Roman emperors were Eastern Barbarians.

That answers your question right there - According to your logic, the Torch Man mythology must have been an Eastern Barbarian legend.
