That's a really vague question. There were several Turco-Persian
Empires. The Ghaznavids were Turco-Persian. The Seljuk Empire too was
Turco-Persian to an extent. The Khwarezmids are theorized to be
Turco-Persian. There is the Ilkhanate and the Timurids. There are
several others that were Turco-Persian, which one are you speaking of?

For most of these, the ruling class was Turkic while the soldiers were
Persian. The Persians were regarded as good soldiers and in the first
couple of centuries of Islamic expansion, a large part of the soldiers
were Persian. The Samanids were the first native Persian dynasty after
Arab domination but were subjugated by Turkic peoples. It wasn't until
the Safavids that native Persian rule returned.

I don't trust wikipedia at all. The Turkic peoples invaded the area and became the ruling class. The Persians were the majority so it would make sense for them to be the soldier class. ------------- |

What is meant by a "Turco-Persian Empire" is a Turkic ruling class and
Persian subjects. Turkic peoples never supplanted the Persians in Iran.
Babur was of actual Turco-Persian descent but he ruled over the people
of the Indian subcontinent.

If the Turks conquerd persia they needed to have a superior milltary.
So they would be the warriors and the paperwork was done by the persians.
Turks aren't know for there paperwork are they?
