Serbian Orthodox Churches


Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church located in Butte, Montana.


St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church.


St. George(Djordje) Serbian Orthodox Church. Located in East Chicago, Indiana. [dispite it's name, East Chicago is actually located in Indiana.

     In Iran I think there are about 150,000-200,000 Christian Armenians, and about 10,000 Christian Assyrians. Heres some information on them: http://www.payvand.com/news/04/dec/1207.html

there are christian from most ethnicity in iran i think. the first persian church organisation, seperate from the russian and greek church, was set up for the former christians of the byzantine empire when iran conquered their lands.

There is many Armenian, in this area of tehran where I live,
& an gentle Armenian family are asleep exactly over my head in upper floor.
& in next alley there is a church,
I tried to take photo of it right now from my window but nothing is viewable, it's far & low Exposure & light

Do you recongonize it's crucifix??

     Besides its religious significance, the Armenian cross has been used in religious art for over 1500 years. From the 5th century onwards, it has been an intricate part of Armenian culture to carve Khachkars (literally means Cross-stone). Here are some examples:
