I heard it was just a myth, sounds pretty improbable to me, though stranger things have happened like that Pope they exhumed to stand trial

I have heard of it, but can't say whether it is fact or fiction. I
really need to improve my knowledge of the Papacy, always a big
weakness for me in my medieval bank of knowledge. Considering the
immoral uproar in the Papal pornocracy at the time, a woman's touch
might have been just what they needed.

Whens the next Total Quiz going to be anyway?
I to need to improve my knowledge on the Papacy, the main reason I havent really studied it is so many Popes get on my nerves, especially in concern to Byzantium, bleh!

Correct, some super intelligent guy on the forum, who's drunk now, posted it, I erm forget who.
He got all his knowledge through rigourous, arduous, committed and laboured academic research...... namely watching this movie with a spliff and a few beers.

It would be interesting to say the least.
I can't stop laughing though. This thread reminds me of Sanela's
(Muslim) talk show. She showed a clip of the new Pope in a red hat with
white fur trim and said, "Well, capitalism has finally destroyed
Christianity. I never thought I'd live to see the Pope riding around
St. Peter's Square dressed like Santa Claus, nor did I expect the world
to last as long as it has afterwards."

In my oppinon the secret of the female Pope was solved because Pope Benedictus III and Emperor Lothar I were in the same coin.

I watched it. It was on Friday around 9 or 10 PM Eastern Time on ABC. I think that she is a myth. It's funny because I also do remember the question on the Total Quiz.

It's a myth that was bound to appear in such a male dominated organisation as the Catholic Church.
It also has an appendix: Apparently for a while in the Middle Ages, newly elected Popes had to demonstrate their masculinity by showing off their sexual organs to a selected audience, that would then exclaim: "Testiculos habet".

I heard that a guy would go under the chair and actually feel the area and exclaim "Testiculos habet".

I've always heard that Pope Joan I was a myth. But when (within years) was this supposed to have happened?
