"Oho! Oho! Rise up, O Teti! Take your head, Collect your bones, Gather your limbs, Shake the earth from your flesh!" - Spell from King Teti's Tomb

Walls in King Teti's tomb are covered with spells like this, telling of his honorable travel to the afterlife and through the underworld. Had the Egyptains grown more and more into the greed for the afterlife they readied themselves for their whole lives? The kings gorlified the wealth thay had making grand pyramids. Then as they realized grave robbers have stolen the dead and vaulables. What does that show for respect of the dead? So then time was taken to make a Valley of Kings and Valley of Queens to perserve the wealthy dead. Then again what is to be said about serf's who can barely afford to emblam their dead. The burial of the dead seems to be less grand than what is at frist presented.
