I got this from my friends several hours ago (I've asked him for the name of the map...)and I wanted to share:

1. Pekin(what we know as capital of Song)

2. Cayson (what we know as capital of Kori/koryo)

3. MoxGoul

4. Scalled Kaleas (mongolic meaning Kori/koryo)

5. Tartary (tartars)

6. Tungsian (East Choson....?)

7. Kitaya (Khitan- they were located north of tibet, but becasue of "historical lies" by Chinese/Japanese counterpart, they are known to have been in Manchu)

*China is below number 2

*Tibet is independent, in yellow: Thibet

Gulf of Corea

2,3,5 mentioned Korea in mongolic...

and look at Gulf of Corea

So, what ya'll think?

Grrr..

Hey demon,

You know you just pulled a "Hannibal" right?  What are you trying to tell us about this map?

Peace,

Michael

Firstly what year is this map supposed to represent

Secondly i sense that this map's creator is ignorant because he just labelled "Pekin" as the capital of Song. Northern Song is KaiFeng, Southern Song is Hangzhou

I would think the author would duly change it to the Jin Capital.  (I think all the capitals in China after that were in Beijing, (except in different names, e.g. Dadu, )
It was renamed Beijing by the Ming Emperor Zhu Li.

Thirdly, why the hell is the capital of koryo sitting so far inland of the mainland?

That's my point.  Why is the capital of Kori there?

my point is that the map is inaccurate , as a glance of the map one would notice a number of glaring errors

you should first determine if the map is true or not before contemplating what it might mean....

Hey Tobodai,

This seems to be the methodology of demon.  Everything to contributes to an image of a glorious ancient Korea is worth posting, regardless of its authenticity.  Then the merit of these posting is not their authenticity, but the MERE possibility of "what if they are true."  He seems incapable of forming a logical distinction between a mere possibility, a probability, and a fact.

Peace,

Michael

I know that.  I just want to discuss "what if"

Hey demon,

Okay, let's play your game.  If the map is authentic, it can mean a number of things.

    1) Koryo occupied Sung dynasty but nobody ever heard of it (seeing how excited you are about posting this, really contradicts your "we don't like invading others cuz we know it hurts" schpeel.)

    2) Cayson is a different city with a same name.  After all, this has happened (incidentally during the Sung dynasty.)  There are four capitals in Sung, the main one is Dong Jing, or Eastern capital.  Dong Jing is the exact same name as Tokyo, but obviously two different cities.  Another example: there's a place called Sai Gong in Hong Kong, which is the same name as Saigon in Vietnam.

    3) The guy who drew the map made a mistake.

Okay, now that we've played your game, it's your turn to play mine.  What's the point of asking a mere possibility?

Peace,

Michael

I never claimed that I wanted to conquer China or anything like that...?

3) The guy who drew the map made a mistake.

Say If he was the truth

........

Let's ask why is Caysong doing there?

What was the city the author called "Caysong"?

Hey demon,

You left out number 2: different cities, same name.  It's not unusual for many Asian cities to have the same name.  You also haven't answered my question.

Peace,

Michael

Isn't Korea considered part of the Mainland?

Hey Gubukjanggoon,

Korea is part of the continent, and in that sense a part of the mainland.  But "Mainland" here refers specifically to China, as in "Da Lu."  demon's premise, clearly, is that an unauthenticated map shows the capital of Koryo in the heart of China.

Peace,

Michael

Hey I-Quan,

Is that Nobunaga from one of the Koei games?  The old Koei games were so cool (dynasty warriors and samurai warriors suck, I'm sorry.)

Peace,

Michael
