It is the flag of Tataristan, although the white stripe in the middle is meant to be slim and not in equal proportion to the green and red.

I can see why our Iranian freinds would find it strnge since the flag has the Iranian colours.

O kisi varya ki boyle dedi (ismini istemem soyleyim), bos yere konusu. Bizim Turk olarak zamanimizi ziyan etmeyelim su insanlara. Biz lazim Ermeni, Rum ve butun Turk dusmanlrina hazir olalim.
