Today is the 70th anniversary of that monumental event.

And while true, in particular vis Europe, they remain f**ked up today due to their socialistic predilections. At least those on the allied side, were self chosen; and were not replaced with Nazism...and the horror associated with the aforementioned.

There was a time when they represented their honor well. One such example was on 8 May 1945. When they gained the prize in their defense of liberty.

To those who fought and for those who fell...my salute.

Were not some of the Allied countries invaded by Germany? To say those that were on the Allied side were 'self chosen' suggests that not submitting to Nazi invasion was a 'choice', rather than a matter of geography or power.
