It doesn't work for me, and i know Red Gaurd has said it didn't work for him either.
IS it buggy? Or a browser issue?

I tried it earlier with firefox.  It didnt work, but when i tried with IE it did.  seems only to work with IE ( i hate using it ) with me.

For firefox, you have to highlight the text and then press the button.

I use it alot, since when you're using firefox, it doesn't convert your links to hyperlinks automatically. So I highlight the url, ctrl-c, hyperlink botton, ctrl-v.

it apparently works, but I did not understand the advantage with respect to simply typing a url on the message editor.

 

Edit: and I still cannot undrstand what this advantage could be

maybe it could be useful if one links to something other than a html, for instance a ftp server; however, I am rather ignorant here, could some programmer (cyrus, other) add some information?
