On Historum History forum I saw someone mention Peter Stolypin and the "fact" that he could have prevented the Russian Revolution. But I saw no justification or this. So I ask the folks here, what could possibly be the justification for this statement? I know that the gallows were known as "Stolypin's Necktie" and that he was a ruthless law man, but could he really have thwarted the Russian revolution?
