Old slavonic is the language whose alphabet has been created by two brothers Cyril and Methodius. To be more precise Cyril created an alphabet which is called Glagolic /or something near that, I mean in English/, after death of this two brothers, their students /Klimet, Naum,Sava,Angelarii, Gorazd/ came to Bulgaria and brought here this alphabet. In Ohrid was created the first slavonic university, where Kliment has created new alphabet and in honour of his teacher Cyril called it - Cyrillic. On this alphabet with little changes made by Russian tsar Peter we write today.

Any opinions?!

Hellow!

This opinion was created by the political  rivals of the slavic counries.

The archeological finds and linguistic analisys showed that there was slavic writings before Cyril&Mephodius. It was called Runitsa. Archeological finds were also made in Bulgaria. These finds are different things (like utensils) with inscriptions.
Here: http://www.organizmica.ru/archive/305/ria.shtml is examples of Runotsa. The site is in Russian, but anyone can see an illustration.
