Taj Mahal was built by many architects from various places. It does not matter where they come from, important thing is that it was a Mughal building, it was not Persian (at that time under Safavid dynasty). American hydrogen bomb was built by Edward Teller, a Hungarian. So was it a Hungarian bomb?
Mughal food, culture and language was not Persian either. Mughals were an original culture, which belongs more to India/Pakistan than anyone else.
You'll actually find it was built by many architects with the head architect being Turkish, trained by the Ottoman master Sinan. |
I don't know if he were the head architect (I doubt that), but one of the architests, Ismail Han Rumi was from Turkey. He built the dome of the building. |
Mughals were a central asian/persian people so every thing they brought came from there, it was not native to India, of course with time they adopted indian influences as well. A building like Taj Mahal is of course 80% persian, with minor 20% local influences
