Amasra is a nice place, i often go there, with its bazaars, ancient castle and natural beuties.Called as "Cesm-i Cihan (eye of the world)" by Ottomans and captured by Mehmed II from the Genoese, sultan visited Amasra and said "lala, lala, Cesm-i Cihan bu mu ola?"

You can have a boat tour, that tour would help to see the town from distance and realise its beatifullness.The bazaar in the photo has wooden hand-made  things, from toys to furnitures.

However its beach is narrow and water circulation is not enough to clean the sea, if you want to swim(some crowded too)Unhappy

Very nice place.
How far in kms is it from Bursa do you think? I will be there soon for sure, so it is not a bad idea visiting it.

500 KM, I think. Amasra-Istanbul is about 450 KM.
