Ambedkar, Periyar and Jinnah discussed together at his home at Bombay in April 1940 to start a party against Congress, but failed, as each had his own ambition and agenda.
 
Ambedkar converted to Buddhism on October 14, 1956, as per his own Contstitutional provisions by being a Hindu. Article 25 places Jains, Buddhists and Sikhs along with Hindus. Go to the following for lengthy discuyssion:
 
Periyar did not convert to anything, as he was a Communist before becoming an atrheist. When Ambedkar urged him to convert to Buddhism, he refused to do so. His organization or the present Periyar Suyamariyadhai Prachara Kazhagam has not produced a single booklet against Mohammedanism or Islam. So his "atheism" was only anti-Hinduism.
 
As for as JInnah is concerned, the question does not arise.

The film of "Periyar" is going to be released soon in Tamilnadu.
 
Is there any film on Jinnah?

yeah

there are many films and drama has been made to acknoledge the services of Muhammad Ali Jinnah. the lastest movie titled "Jinnah" was relased in pakistan 7 years back ( perhapse also released in uk as well.)

one of the greatest leader the asia has ever produced .....

I understand that he has written letters to Periyar. Can you give some references or the text of the letters etc?

I request to give reference to the effect, when any learned poster makes any new point so that it is verifiable.
 
If one goes on makes postings that Jinnah father's was a Hindu" and so on, it is very difficult. After all, it is only contemporary history, we are dealing and there are documents and people who have seen, conversed and even moved with those people.
 
Therefore, the facts can be verified.
History is not what was written or is written, but it is actually what had happened in the past.

If Jinnah had a "hindu" father or otherwise, it is not at all a surprise, as Muslims of pre-1947 or pre-Islamic period could not have been different from Hindus.
 
One of our forefathers was from Lahore. Now, he says his relatives are not only Muslims but also they snapped all ties.
 
So the religious divide has done much harm to Indians and Pakistanis.
