Did anyone see it last sunday? I did...

It was kinda fun, although it was rather heavily adapted to the modern young british viewer...
Some observations:

How English they all are... lower class English that is, not upper... Put some colored striped shirts on the lot and you have a pack of hooligans... I love it...

I like Marian. Finally one who looks like a girl instead of a barbie.

I don't like Robin. Too happy with himself.

I do like Guy of Gisbourne, no bigger pleasure than a good villain.

I'm not sure about the Sherriff, he is a bit over the top, but perhaps the story needs that...

What do you think?

Women hold their councils of war in kitchens: the knives are there, and the cups of coffee, and the towels to dry the tears.

I found it hard to get into, i'm hoping it will pick up more in the later installments.
And, the style was very very different from the ones that sprung up in the 1980s.
Arrrgh!!"

My kids found it boring, but I thought it had its moments.

One outlaw to another:
"Let's go to Nottingham to free Robin."
"Na, we don't do towns".

Brilliant.

Or the sherriff, totally over the top indeed, especially when he crushed the budgie in his palms.
