The cult of Small Gods.

Women hold their councils of war in kitchens: the knives are there, and the cups of coffee, and the towels to dry the tears.

Well, seeing as he is such a successful writer, he was probably a good Hindu in his previous life. Tongue

The paper is different, hence the smell, thinner, but yet seemingly stronger. Curious that.

Im sorry but aren't these books supposed to be read in series or is each one about a different story in Discworld?

The books can be read in a series, but it is not a necessety. Some books completely stand alone, some are about the same persons and situations which evolve. It is fun to read them in proper order because of the running jokes, but you can read a single one no problem.
