Hi,

Of course nowadays there are a lot of talking about Iran. They are talking about the president and the supreme ayatollah. What is the difference? Who actually rules the country?
Is there a clear constitution or is it more a matter of persons? How are they chosen/elected? Have their positions changed since 1979? What is the actual power of the Shia clerics over the institutions?
And what ever seems useful for you to mention...

Thanks.

well, iran is a semi democracy.

most officials are elected by the people, but the real power lies in the hands of un-elected mullahs.
