Hi,

Well thinking about it it is maybe just a mistake but if it is not I think it is a great move toward a AE democracy: people can reply in the warning and ban subforum! This is great as a warned person can apology (why not?) or explain why she/he wrote such or such thing.

there seem to be some bugs in the voting process...for soem reason we can vote multiple times on a topic.

lol. Actually it was a bug/error. Smile

We used to allow members to reply there, but what happened was that the bans and warnings forum ended up hosting a lot of flame wars.

Democracy in forums have been discussed a few times. In general, internet forums cannot operate in a whole democracy because it's impossible to get a majority opinion, which would require about 1500 members agreeing to something. Pluralty opinions rarely amount to more than 1% of the total  membership.

Talking about that, could it be some kind of vote for whatever like you've got two weeks to vote for who shall be the new mods (just a example) or to pick the new colour of the background or to force Imperator Invictus to show us his 15th birthday pictures (those he's full of acnee on) You know thing kind of thing.
Or matter of less importance such as: the best post? who shall be the ALL EMPEROR
