Around the 1960's Havana was a haven for American tourists. It was only two hours away from the plane for people of the US northeast. It was tropical, with lovely beaches, and casinos. All of this was possible was because of the greed and corruption of the American Mob. The gangsters of New York, Chicago, and Las Vegas all placed their bets on this city, and turned it into a paradise. The Riviera hotel was one of the greatest monuments dedicated to the mob bosses of the area. The only problem is that the foundation that held the mob bosses in place was just as corrupt and unstable. And the time was ripe for revolution in Cuba
