Here a new subject that will be able to be an interesting topic. We all know that we have relatively few knowledge on central asian nomadic people's life because there is not much first hand information. But.... After all, I want to ask you a human-centric question.

Childhood in Gokturks...  (And comparing other empires in terms of its qualities, its advantages and disadvantages etc.)

What do we know about that? What were those children's toys for example?

were they nomads? im not sure about nomad children, but children in persia and roma and china did have hand made dolls, horses, etc...

but mostly, children were working all the time, or if they were previliged they were in school.

im not sure about nomads though.

Well, the Gokturk children mostly had dogs (kangals), swords and horses to play with.

Kangals, some one told me that Kangals came anatolia with Oguz Tribe.
is that true?

@ The Hidden Face (THE TURK)
there is a proverb in Turkish as you know
"Turks ride horse before they walk"
I think their toys were the horses.
