And the worst aspect of this "pc nightmare" is, that you actually got one and can post..., how can I put it nicely and without getting into trouble ?,......such slightly "intellectualy challenged" statements like that on the net.

Kind of hard but it seems like the world is copying everything Americans are doing though
For instance..in the 80's the world copied the disco craze, the world also copied "the prom," and you all enjoy Mcdonalds, Pizza Hut, and Coca Cola!

We never copied the prom here, we stuck with our own Anglo inherited
debutante balls and graduation year formal parties, thankyou very much.
Honestly, the idea of having a brilliant party at the end of the school
year and ruining it for "commoners" by electing a "prom king and
queen", it's just so elitist and hollow that Aussies could never adopt
such a cultural facet as that. Lets hope it stays that way.

Interesting though that the Americans for all their "revolutionary" ideals and freedoma nd equality still feel the need to a "king" and "queen", maybe they miss the monarchy...
