I was in Athens for only two days. That was not enough to enjoy the city. I would like to go back for another visit.

I don't know how many restoration projects are there all over Greece, but I think I can safely say that they are not heavily restorating ancient temples. I think that the priority is given in the conservation of ancient monuments, rather than their restoration, unless the latter is necessary.
One important restoration project though, is the restoration of the monuments of the Athenian Acropolis, including the Parthenon, the Erechtheion and the Temple of Athena Nike.
