I like the arhcitecture, it is very neo-lydian (if such a thing exists), maybe Anatolian is a better word, was it a Turkish architect or did they hire a foreigner?

47 architects around the world was participated in the competiton, only three projects made to the final.7 other projects were also awarded appreciation for the contribution the best three awarded projects Prof.Johannes Kruger (Germany)
Prof. Emin Onat - Do. Orhan Arda (Turkey)
Prof. Arnaldo Foschini (İtaly)
I think jury made the best decision by choosing Emin Onat and Orhan Arda's project

Ankara Palas was built in 1924 and was opened as the first luxury hotel in Ankara. The spectacular "Republic Balls" took place here where Iranian Mohammed Reza Shah Pahlavi, Afghan King Amanullah, Iraqi King Faisal I., Alfred Krupp, Tito, President Eisenhower and General Montgomery are among the guests.

I wish you didn't post that artificial castle(if that is a castle) here.it's no way equal to the original one. It's more like a religious building that came out of Saudi Arabia and I believe only religious people invited inside.I hate it, it's a waste of money
