Exactly!

I live in Ankara, but I visited Istanbul many times.

The sea, mosques, museums are great. Everyone should see them at least once in a lifetime.

However I really wouldn't live there.

Ankara and Istanbul couldn't be compared.I also love Ankara but I except that Istanbul is 5 Ankara.

Thanks a lot for the pictures

Well, as everyone can see, Istanbul and Ankara is truly beautiful cities, but the truth is Turkey is a beautiful country, geograficly, culturaly as well as historicaly. To me the interesting thing is that the climate in Turkey is quite varied, there's any type of climate from deserts to cold forest covered mountains. But again, it's safe to say that this planet itself is the most beautiful wonder of all times

Istanbul could be much more beautiful in the future. It's far too dirty and there are far too many ugly buildings that need to be demolished ASAP.

The Bulgarian St Stephen Church (Bulgarian: ( ) ; Turkish: Sveti Stefan Kilisesi) in Istanbul, also known as the Bulgarian Iron Church, is a Bulgarian Orthodox church in Istanbul, famous for being made of cast iron. Built in 1896 at the place of first wooden Bulgarian Church.

The church belongs to the Bulgarian minority. The Bulgarians of the Ottoman Empire used to pray at the churches of the Phanar Orthodox Patriarchy, but due to nationalistic movements, Bulgarians were allowed a national church in the 19th century
