Bones, by Elaine Dewar. Carroll & Graff.  She is an investigative reporter, not an archaeologist.
 
"She examines the rivalries, political agendas, gossip, turf wars, threats, thefts and outright lies among researchers that still cripple honest investigation of American antiquity".  Balt. Sun.
 
She's also the first journalist I know of to expose the fact that over 90% of the archaeological surveys produced under the laws in the US have never been peer reviewed or published.

I am slowly finishing The Decipherment of Linear B, by John Chadwick.  I think it has been out of print for decades.  In either case, I found it in a used book store (the best kind of book store).

Nothing now but I have a book about the Armenian genocide I will read but I cannot recall the title right now. I want to get Michael Savages' new fictional novel titled "Abuse of power" but it won't be out for a few weeks. Once it is out it will be almost impossible to get a copy for months.

The Nicomachean Ethics, by Aristotle. This has to be one of the easiest philosophers to read. I wish more philosophers had written their works so clear. He is nearly at the top of my favourites.

I'm glad to see another fan of Aristotle hereSmile. He is my all time favorite philosopher, and the one I have read for longest time.

I'm 50 pages into  "Mary Magdalene" by Bruce Chilton, but so far I'm disappointed, because I don't encounter anything new.
