My former school was on that street. (Ankara)

It seems nothing has changed there, the traffic is still heavy.

Just so we're clear before anyone gets offended...

If you don't like the picture of your city, I assure you it wasn't on purpose. I tried to find interesting views of cities everyone knows, and overall/panoramic views of cities most people don't. I didn't try to make certain cities look worse than others so if there's a picture you want changed, don't yell or scream - just ask, and I'll change it.

I don't think that will happen. All the pictures are great. Anyway, where did you find these all?

Nice pics.

Here's some more of Stockholm, which recently passed Copenhagen and became the largest city in the North with some 1.8 million inhabitants, built on a dozen or so islands in the spot where lake Mlaren meets the Baltic.

Bad quality panorama.

Strandvgen, one of the most expensive places to live in.

A view of the top of the Globe Arena.

Karlberg, world's oldest military academy.

One of the bigger tourist magnets, the Vasa.

Kungstrdgrden park, with Charles XII eternally pointing towards Russia.

Old town, which is situated on the island in the very center of the city.

Old town panorama

Another panorama.

Horse-caressers (aka the Life dragoon guard ) turning over the bridge towards the Castle in the background with pickelhube and mausers at the ready.

Plenty of fish where Lake Mlaren empties its waters in the Baltic Sea.

The City Hall...

...with the Golden Hall where the Nobel Prizes are handed out.

And finally the Parliament.

bah, some pics didn't work. fixed that.

I like all your pictures Mila. Great!

Good view of Yerevan. However, pictures with Mount Ararat in the background are much more popular.

Yerevan at night. The city's 2787th birthday was recently celebrated.

Yeah, I just took Wikipedia's list of European countries. There's a few iffy ones there, but oh well. The more the merrier.

I took some pics of Central London from where i live, but the mobile phone camera is so crap, that nothing shows up from that far away. A pity, as you have an excellent view of the central area, with all the tall buildings from here, even though its like 20 miles away.

Styrbiorn, i agree with you, Stockholm is the most gorgeous city in the world. I'm from STHLM but i've been living in Paris for the past five years and i still find my hometown to be magnificent.

This is, of course, my personal opinion.

Ironically, the picture of Warsaw doesn't work

As the saying goes... 'You forgot about Poland!'
