I'll post some pics of my city. It is not very known and there are few tourists that visit it but I find it beautiful. Tell me what you think.

A view of the city.

The castle.

The old cathedral (the small round one) and the new cathedralwith the 3rd biggest church dome in Italy.

Piazza della Loggia (Loggia square), the most beautiful square of the city, built during the Venetian rule.

The Loggia (the building of the city government)

The astronomic clock (at the opposite side of the square). The two statues near the bell are called in our dialect "i macc de le ure" (the crazy mans of the hours).

The ruins of the capitoline temple, built during the rule of emperor Vespasianus.

The "winged victory". In origin an ellenistic statue of Venus probably made in Rhodes. It was transformed in a "nike" and given to the city probably by Augustus.

Piazza della vittoria (vitctory square), an example of architecture of the fascist regime. The big striped building is the main poste office. The white statue has been destroyed after the war.

The same square before the start of the "1000 miles" race. (It starts and ends in Brescia. Ever heard about it?)

Mika Hakkinen ready for the race.

The "Crystal palace". The highest building of the city.

The garbage furnace. It burns garbage to produe electricity, It's one of the most modern plants of this kind in Europe.

A kind of a long post. I hope you enjoyed!

Awesome pictures. Now if we could just downsize that rubbish furnace contraption and stick it in my car. Think about it. No biodiesel, no pertrol, just plain old junk. MPG - miles per garbage.

Wow, looks gorgeous. Italy is one of my,if not the, favorite places to visit in Europe. Ill sure to head there sometime.

As for the racing thing. I remember I saw a setup of cars like that when I went to Treviso.
