Hello,

We had an interesting thread about Sangesari and other similar people.

have a look here: http://www.allempires.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=4960& ;PN=2

Sangesari people still retain their pre_Islamic version of Persian (Pahlavi).

Sangesaris are the most oppressed people of Iran because they were/are  mostly Bahai, after the Islamic revolution a large number of Bahais were killed in Sangesar and the name of city was changed to Mahdishahr.

Hell yea dude I'm half Sangesari!  Sangesar is the dehat of Semnan.  They call Semnan "Simin."  Yea Sangesari is interesting to say the least.  My mom says that Sangesaris are mazanderanis.  Is this correct?  I'm just curious and would like to know.  And yes my family is Bahai.  Sangesari has the funniest curse words.  For example "Ta pishe ta kun" which mean "your dad in your ass!", "khafe babeau" which means "Khafe sho", and "Khar ta pasht" which means "Donkey **** you from the back!" lol.

I hear the Sang in Sangesari is the evolution of the word Sak, or Saka.
