Did you know that in the land of Hellas there are more than 48 villages with the name fairey village or sth similar? That there are more than 30 words in the Hellenic language for the creature called vampire. That many islands are considered home of vampires, and many are known to have places named  like the Devil harbour, the Devil islands.

Words for the vampire:

"There are worse crimes than burning books. One of them is not reading them. "
--- Joseph Alexandrovitch Brodsky, 1991, Russian-American poet, b. St. Petersburg and exiled 1972 (1940-1996)

The folklore legend of vampire is (was?) popular throughout Greece; I believe it's a remnant of the last pagan days of Greece.

Something else.

Isn't vourdoulas a whip '' ?
and 'katramhs' = tar ""
we can find '' known today as ""
