If they were related to the Romanians they wouldn't deny any kind of connection with them. You haven't understood (or maybe your politicians don't want to tell you) that Vlachs were native people in Greece, Albania and Serbia who had never gone out of their homeland but they were just romanized by the Roman (Roman Empire not Romanian) legions. The romanian propaganda begun when Romanians wanted to join to the country Transylvania and some regions of Bulgaria. The Vlachs of the Balkans were not a nation but just Latin-speakers who had never moved from Romania or Vlahia. They never wanted to form a country or join Romania because they were Greeks, Albanians and Serbs who spoke Vlachic and wrote in Greek, Albanian and Serbian Language respectively. Besides the language of Vlachs is relative to the Romanian language but not the same language. You cannot say that you have the same origin because you are the only country which use the name Romania (it's a second-hand word from the Romans and this name was used for all the people who lived in the Roman Empire, it's not yours) and their name is Aromanians. This name was used many centuries ago while your name was "Dacians".
Try to say to a Greek-Vlach whose ancestors lived always on Pindos that he/she is a Romanian and he/she'll get angry in a second. When in 1994 the EU in cooperation with the Greek government recognised that there are 5 minorities in Greece ( Vlachs, Arvanites, Pomaks, Gypsies and another one), the Vlachs almost rebelled (Arvanites as well) and blamed the Greek state for betrayal.
